We have a good samaritan looking for an adopter for a beautiful cat she rescued. The kitty is named Kat, and she was abandoned at an office. She is fixed, and she is about 12 pounds. She is a lap cat, and she loves to be held. She follows her rescuer around like a puppy. Please write us at courtneyc@thecatpeople.org if you are interested in getting more information. Kitty rescued by vet
One of our favorite local animal loving vets saved a kitty in need. This beautiful young female will be spayed this week, has been tested and vaccinated. She now needs a great indoor home. Contact Auburn Veterinary Hospital for more information if you are interested in adopting her! (661) 872-0363
Holiday Open House This Weekend
The Cat People Open House is scheduled for this Saturday, November 15th, 10am-4pm at their downtown location. (1930 18th Street)
Calling all animal lovers! Your support is needed. This weekend we will host a fun holiday open house at our shop packed with raffle items, deals on holiday gifts for animal lovers, and stocking stuffers for your precious felines. Come along to enjoy refreshments, the holiday spirit, and the camaraderie of fellow cat people. We hope to promote our mission to save more cats and spread the word about our shop and other programs at this year's open house. Every dollar spent at our shop go towards our goal to spay/neuter more community cats, rescue more cats and kittens, and place more cats and kittens in forever homes.

Kittens rescued off street
We recently rescued three precious babies off of a very busy road in town. Once abandoned and helpless, these three kittens are now happy and healthy in foster care and will make their debut appearance at Petco on Rosedale Hwy this upcoming Saturday. Check out how adorable one of the siblings is in this photo their foster mom captured.
Kali was adopted!
Big news: Kali was adopted on Saturday! Kali spent many Saturdays at Petco waiting for her forever home. She finally found the perfect home with Celeste. Yay!
