The cats and kittens
we rescue from our feral colonies, from our managed urban colonies, or from the streets
and the alleys, are fostered until they are socialized, healthy, and old enough to be
placed for adoption. We require an adoption contract, and a fee of $45. If the kitty you
adopt is not old enough to be spayed/neutered, we send along a voucher so the new owner
can get this done free of charge and we check with owners to see that the surgery has been
done. We want to thank our adoption partner PetSmart, for allowing us to use their LuvaPet center at their Oswell store in East Bakersfield. Thanks to them, we have adopted over 400 cats and kittens in the past couple of years alone. (We estimate that we have placed well over 2,000 cats and kittens in happy homes in just over a decade of existence). Here are some wonderful happy endings:
